Elvis, our bantam blue cochin laid her first egg! No fake egg in the nesting box or anything. I thought it was coming because she had been talking up a storm. There was a light, small smear of blood on the outside, but I couldn't find anything wrong with her when I checked on her and delivered her reward apple and pumpkin. Maybe she will motivate the rest of them to get on it!
