Here it is he/she-My very first duck!! This little one was a surprise-I was not supposed to get a duck egg in my order-but I did and I'm soo happy-what a snuggle butt! loves to crawl in the back of my neck-under my hair...no name yet the DH is naming it! when should I start feeing it lettuce and greens? It's only 24 hrs old and has chick starter and water...

I am not sure if it is correct but I started feeding small amounts of finely chopped spinach and lettuce at one week old. At first I did hold a small piece in front of them so they would understand "Mommy" gave it to them. I put it in their water bowl so that they are actually gathering on their own.
