Well, is there a name for a guinea with a Buff ground color and partial pearling? 'Cause that's what I see in the picture. Buff and Buff Dundotte have the same color mutation, but Buff also has the no-pearling gene. So this bird looks like it has the Buff ground color and the partial-pearling gene.

Guinea genetics is made more confusing than it has to be by the names given to the colors. In budgies, each mutation is mentioned when describing a bird. Thus if you have a budgie that's mostly white with brownish stripes on the head and pale blue markings, you'd call it Cinnamon Blue Dutch Pied, because those are the mutations combined in that bird to give it that color. You wouldn't call it something like Polar Ice that says nothing of the genes involved.

Pretty guinea, whatever the name is for it.

Yes she's a Buff. Look at the Royal Purple in the background of the 1st pic, the Buff Hen has identical markings on her feathers, aka partial pearling.
I LOVE the first 2 pics of her, beautiful bird! (and you can tell she knows it, lol).

From my last hatch I have 2 Buff keets, and one is lighter than the other.... so I am hoping I have a male and female. We'll see in 5-6 weeks or so
