Your post just took my breath away and made me

. I can tell that you cherished her and what a wonderful thing she has done by donating her organs to give life to someone else. I do hope that you have a wonderful relationship with whom ever receives her organs. God Bless and may he keep you in his arms.

I lost 2 friends, one of which was 8th months pregnant, and their 4 yr old nephew to a drunk/drugged driver who was running from police after stealing a VCR from a home. It's a heavy burden to forgive so that the healing can start.

My deepest sympathy to you and your family.

I extend my sympathy for your loss and pray that you find health and healing in the time to come. You are also a man to be admired and your devotion to your wife emulated by the married men here and also the single men and boys trying to figure out what a good husband looks like. I hope that God comforts you in every way.

My heartfelt sympathy to you and your family.
I have the utmost respect for her. She made it though all of that for the will to live for herself and family.

I am so sorry you lost your wife and partner. It is so hard to lose someone that close to you.

On the drunk driving issue, it is a priority for me, though I have never been touched by the issue. I refuse to take a sip of alcohol and drive. I am a mother. I am not ever going to be responsible for killing someone elses child because of careless behavior.

I am so sorrowful that this awful even touched your life. In my opinion, she was murdered, and more and more people need to be aware of the effects of such a careless and thoughtless act.

to you and may God keep you comforted and safe.

I'm so sorry for your loss. What a brave selfless woman she must have been to think of others while she was having her own troubles. That takes a truly special person. And i also agree with you about drunk drivers. Its a shame the puny consequences they have for drunk drivers.

Wendy I could not agree more. The man that killed the Angels pitcher a few months back had a suspended license and signed an agreement that if he drove drunk again he would spend life in prison. Guess what? He is going to trial. Harsher penalties are needed for this crime. And more people need to fill out that donor card too!
