She's a Speckled Sussex, and yes she is gorgeous.

Looks like a Speckled Sussex cockerel. (So a he, not a she.) Could be wrong but the comb and wattles look very large and red for a lady Sussex.

Easiest way to tell! But yes, she is an absolute beauty! I want some Speckled Sussex hens SO bad but there weren't any available for the time frame I wanted to ship chicks in.
