She is laying again

I have two chickens that lay eggs, well at the first of the month I had locked them up in the coop/pen so that my rooster would stop over using them. They are the only ones that I have that he could use. We he is now gone and I have started to let ALL my chickens out to free range and to day Thelma who stopped laying on the 2 of June laid an egg today. I just might not have to buy any more for my husband to eat any more.

I think she was just stressed over it all.

I should also be getting eggs from my RIR or New Hamps here in the next month or so. Not sure what they are yet.

Yes it is wonderful that she is laying again. I think one of the reason that she stopped int eh first place was that my rooster that I had what hurting her to bad. she had gashes in her sides from him, and it took the month to heal that up.
