She is supposed to be a Black Copper Marans....

Thank you. When I get rid of my overabundance of Silkie Roos, I will probably get a Black Copper Marans.
BCM's are a little overrated! If it is the egg you are after, try a wellsummer or bevelder. The former will typically lay more eggs than a BCM - and is autosexing which is a bonus - and the latter is just a really neat bird who lays well!

I had originally chose the Black Copper Marans due to their temperament. Because they seemed laid back enough to be around my Silkies which was to be my main breed. I also wanted a Chicken that was a better layer than the Silkies. My neighbor gave me 2 that she thought were Black Copper Marans. She was very upset as I had just keep scammed on 2 8 month old laying BCMs for over $500 and quickly grabbed 2 chicks that she knew were pullets. One ended up being a Cream Legbar and the other a Golden Laced Wyandotte. lol. They are 5 weeks older than the Silkies but I had the Silkies first.

I would say some of the most aggressive roosters we have had here have been BCM roosters. So much so that I have eliminated them entirely from the line.

That would be the only breed/gender combo that in my experience has had a consistent temperament. All the rest, seem to not fit many perceived stereotypes

I was only interested in layers.
But I do want to keep a Silkie Roo. I'm giving away one of them tomorrow. I think I have 3 or 4 out of the 6 I ordered. 🤦‍♀️
The 2 white cockerels who I call the twins like to chase all of the rest of them around, even the much larger Cream Legbar and GLW. Hopefully with one gone, the other one won't be so crazy. If the other one is still causing issues, he has a home waiting for him too.
