She isnt laying, but shes sitting on fake eggs.

I have a Campbell who isn't laying, but she sits on anything remotely egg shaped. The kids left a maraca lying in the yard and she didn't want to get up from it. Plastic Easter eggs are her babies and shes been caught sitting on them a few times.

Is this a sign she might be laying soon, or does she just have a literal case of empty nest syndrome?

She sounds broody You could try and get fertilized eggs for her to hatch if you want,

It doesn't sound like she'll be laying soon
