She just started laying

Ok so my leghorn just started laying eggs. Over the weekend I changed the nest box from one large one with no separation. I cleaned out the nest box and found lots of poop. So I changed it a bit and added separate nesting baskets 4 total 12x14 and about 4 to 6inches deep. Good news after 4 days almost no poop. Bad my leghorn stopped laying. I have also found one egg no shell and another some one laied it from the perch. I know it wasn't the leghorn because she lays white and the busted shell was brown. I have 8 chickens all just starting to lay eggs. After Mondays eggs that were either busted or no shell will stuff return to normal or should I remove the nesting baskets.

I think they are still working on learning how to lay everything will probably clear up soon. They should be on layer feed, and should have a dish of calcium too.

I put oyster shells the day they started laying. They have been on layer feed for the last month.
