At 2 weeks of age this Blue Andalusian is the most "mature" of all my chicks. None of the other Blue Andalusians have as pronounced a comb. They're also much smaller. "She" is also more aggressive/confident/curious than the others. Could Carmen be a Carmine?

Oh yeah, it's a cockerel! Carmen is now Carmine. Aside from the fact that he's about three times the size of my other Andalusians (poor girls, ouch), he's got the starts of some healthy looking spurs. How many of you file your roos spurs? Also, how do you keep them? With the girls all the time? Inside/outside of the coop at night?
I think I need an incubator.

Still a little too early to tell, I think. Give it a few more weeks, if the comb turns red, you'll know. The "bully" part could be male or female, they are just showing who's boss. Good luck!!!!

Edited to say, what a cutie, though!!!!!

Hi kinnip! First off let me say I don't know alot about chicks , but I do have two Sex Link girls and they look the same as yours.

Hope that helps!
