At 2 weeks of age this Blue Andalusian is the most "mature" of all my chicks. None of the other Blue Andalusians have as pronounced a comb. They're also much smaller. "She" is also more aggressive/confident/curious than the others. Could Carmen be a Carmine?
Oh yeah, it's a cockerel! Carmen is now Carmine. Aside from the fact that he's about three times the size of my other Andalusians (poor girls, ouch), he's got the starts of some healthy looking spurs. How many of you file your roos spurs? Also, how do you keep them? With the girls all the time? Inside/outside of the coop at night?
I think I need an incubator.
