She might be getting bullied on!

Good evening BYC family!
I have 11 Rhode Island Red hens. They are all about 8-9 months old. I noticed one of them has a bald spot, so I picked her up and saw an area where there was bleeding at one point. Should I isolate her, or do you all think she’s fine to stay with the flock? She made an odd sound when I was holding her, so that was a big concern to me. I’m just trying to pick brains of more experienced people as these are my first birds.

can i see where it is on her body? looks like bullies to me.. do you know who's bullying her? if you find out you can isolate the bully.

do you have roosters? it looks like she's getting bullied. if it was a problem with roosters, the feathers around her comb and on top of her head should also be almost gone (assuming you have roos)

I don’t have roosters anymore. I had to get rid of them due to aggressive behavior. I’m not sure which one is the bully. 2 of them are a few weeks older than the other 9, but they’re all the same size now.

once you find out you can seperate or get rid of the bully, but this could be a sign of bigger problems. is your run big enough? do they have toys mirrors, chairs or entertainment in their run?

The run is about 5x10. There’s a toy in there and I give them veggies to peck at when I’m home. I do need to get them more things to entertain themselves. I will get them more entertainment and see if that works.
