She is so assertive and bosses all the others around. She is also the friendliest and loves for us to hold her. She has started jumping on the others backs and chasing them around herding them back into the coop. I'm really starting to suspect she is a he

That comb looks very roo. Get a close up. If there are three ridges across, it is a roo. One ridge or no ridge is a girl.

I'm not sure looks wise, but I have a buff orp hen that jumps on the backs of the youngest hens....she's a bit bossy to them.

She's a favorite for sure. It will be difficult to say goodbye. We can't have a rooster and we know one of the others is definitely a rooster

She/He is very smart and when she gets upset or is really happy she fans her tail out like a koi fish tail or a butterfly opening it's wings.
