she laid a huge drk green egg and was a very good moma even to chicks she didn't hatch. after I got her tamed down she loved to be with anyone that was in the yard.
and the soles of her feet were the same as the rest of her feet and legs.
She passed away of old age I guess.

It might be awhile before you can find another one like her. EEs are like a box of chocolates, you never really know what you are going to get. They could like identical as chicks and completley different as adults.

cool EE it is... I'm working on getting some this spring. Don't have to look like her just want the temperament and the lg green eggs, I love them and my kids did too. So did a few neighbors after they found out that the egg wasn't BAD... lol I was actually asked what was wrong with that egg?

I have people I sell eggs to that won't eat the"odd" colored ones. Doesn't matter howI try to convince them, they still thinkthere is something wrong with them

I know it's crazy... I have cracked a few open just to show them they are the same.... but well ya just cant convince some people.
