Separate her from the other hens right away. Chickens are attracted to red and can peck her in that area and cause her to bleed to death.

Search prolapse. She will need to be kept alone for a few days and will need a warm bath and Preparation H to reduce the swelling. When picking up the Prep H get some plastic/latex gloves also. You will need to apply the lotion inside her and it's best to cover your finger.

It looks like a prolapse to me too. The prep H and isolation are perfect.

I was just going to post to get an update...So how's she doing? Were you able to find the info you needed and is the prolapse staying "inside" ?
