@AmyLynn2374 I was foing the same thing with 3 different types of feed... then I got Call ducks...

Was recommended the Purina flock raiser for them and tried it with the others... within 2 days I could see a major difference with all my chooks... so much less hassle too...

Cheap feeders for less waste until you can do pvc...

Yay!!!!! I did not have any hatchicks a few hatches ago because I had a stupid temp spike.

Nuggets is a good one!!!!! I love Ann Rice. And yes they were so delicious and moist...perfect recipe ever!

I do the PVC pipes...and it's great. I love it. Less mess!!!

Update for @chicapee

I've been dealing with 1 Am hen trying to go broody, no biggie... but today one of my best egg color layer has decided to go broody as well... trying to snap her outta it, but not sure how it's gonna go...
I have a hen who lays a greenish egg I wasn't planning on including... do you want them or no?
Leave it to the girls to try to ruin plans, lol...

That's a cool idea. I'll have to try that. My oldest group wastes half of their food. I think there is more food lining the coop floor than bedding! It's frustrating!
