She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

That's a cool idea. I'll have to try that. My oldest group wastes half of their food. I think there is more food lining the coop floor than bedding! It's frustrating!

That's what I want to hear! lol

It also makes it difficult to knock pieces out because their head had to go into the pipe.

I loved the Twilight series!  Very well written books.

I'm glad I'm not the only one!!

What's wrong with a beard? :smack

I read a lot. I mean a lot...
I mentioned earlier how my OCD kicks in, and I will get on an author or series and have to read everything before moving on. I've read every Grisham, every Patterson, every Vince Flynn and Daniel Silva (Terrorist type novels), and so much more. I read Shogun (a 1200 page book) when I was 12, then read every other James Clavell book before I was 14. I don't know why, I have just always loved reading. I don't care for sci-fi or romance, but historical, action adventure, murder/mystery, courtroom, etc...

If you want to read a really good historical book that reads like a story, try Nicholas and Alexandra. It's about the last emperial faimily of Russia. Great book!!
I don't normally correct spelling online (except my own)--too many dyslexic and/or British-spelling-using online friends for the last almost-decade-and-a-half. As long as I can figure out what's being said, I roll with it. (One friend of mine was not only dyslexic, but spelled how he spoke--and he had an interesting accent:lol: And my completely blind friend couldn't spell worth a darn before chemo-brain (or the maybe-stroke/"just" a hemorrage just before chemo started--jury's still out on that one). But that was my name. And it's not like it's a difficult one to spell. Nor like it's a name you don't type several times a day:lau OK, yeah, standard Qwerty layout makes it an easy typo. Then again, you correct others' errors:plbb

That is such a good point. My brother and mother are both dyslexic. My brother gets teased, mercilessly on FB by peers that don't realize he struggled through high school at a 5th grade reading/writing level. And my mom can't even write out a greeting card, just gets letters all mixed up in her head. But otherwise they are pretty intelligent!

Yay!!!!! I did not have any hatchicks a few hatches ago because I had a stupid temp spike.
Nuggets is a good one!!!!! I love Ann Rice. And yes they were so delicious and moist...perfect recipe ever!
I do the PVC pipes...and it's great. I love it. Less mess!!!

Well, if you need any eggs in the future, maybe we can help.

You are really shocking me with these books you're into. lol
I think you're good on those... she's been selling their eggs for quite a while... haven't heard anything negative about her stock...

I bought eggs from Ebay - the ultimate Buyer Beware Site. They were suppose to be SKY blue like a Tiffany blue box, her picture was exactly what I wanted. The hens were blue, black splash -I really wanted lavender but the egg color was totally on the money so didn't care about the hens color. When I received them 8 blue and 4 green - it was suppose to be 10 sky blue - they were barely tinted blue, pale dusty blue, nothing like the picture. When I questioned her she said "Egg color lightens as the laying cycle comes to an end. The eggs are a very nice blue in the Spring, as pictured. As for the green tinted, that's my beautiful back Kitsch hen - it is an accepted color per the Ameraucana Breeders Club. I thought I only sent 2 of those, I try not to send any but a lot of my girls are broody so numbers are down. Sorry you are disappointed. I am sure once they hatch you won't be. It's a beautiful flock of birds that I've worked on for years." Then I replied I would post pictures of the eggs I actually received, Second message was "Apologies again. No one else has had a problem, I ship several dozen a week. I have pulled my ads down and am not selling on eBay anymore. My eggs lighten up like that every year, so do my marans. It's very common. Hopefully you do hatch them, they are lovely birds and my hatch rates have been awesome this year they had lightened up, " I had Ameraucanas before and they never lighten up that much. So disappointed - I felt scammed. I guess I have to order chicks from John Blehm again, I just don't need 25.
sorry about your eggs not being blue enough. I got eggs form ebay many times . my last ebay shipment was the same way when I opened the eggs they looked white were dirty but nothing like Chicapees just a few marks on some of the eggs. I still order even after one seller never sent my eggs wasn't going to refund my money told me to file a claim against him after the thirty days had passed told me there was a death in his family and then usps didn't pick up my shipment on the very last day I left a nasty negative feedback he went nuts offered me other eggs I wouldn't take told him I would get it removed if I got my money back took awhile but I got all my money except paypal fees I am easy going most of the time. just the other day a friend told me how easy I am to do business with and was missed by my concrete supplier I don't have a problem buying off ebay I like to know where my eggs come from so I am a repeat buyer .when someone ships eggs that dirty with air cells that large and they never left the south that is a bad person . a crook and If I had a friend who did business like that they would no longer be my friend. I would really like to know who they are so I don't make the same mistake however not until this is over. btw welcome to thread don't mind me I ramble a lot

Yummy!!!!!!! I wish there was an emoji for rolling around on the floor .
Dido!!!!!
he's gonna chicken out.
Sounds about right. Except I won't act??? How does he know? ??

Making homemade chocolate cupcakes with homemade vanilla buttercream icing. We have been watching cake wars and the girls wanted to make some from scratch.

Cute girls! And now I want some cupcakes!!

My dad brought me up on Grisham.  If I would have been an attorney, that would have been my inspiration.  I can remember walking through the halls of my high school, my face buried in "A Time to Kill".

I've been meaning to read some Ann Rule for a while now.   Anne Rice was also a fav back in the day.

My absolute all time favorite author was Terry Pratchett.

You are NAHT ALOWNE!

I'm calling you Nuggets from now on.

[SUB]mmmmmmmmm....cupcakes.......*homerdrool*[/SUB]

:frow

@AmyLynn2374 I was foing the same thing with 3 different types of feed... then I got Call ducks...

Was recommended the Purina flock raiser for them and tried it with the others... within 2 days I could see a major difference with all my chooks... so much less hassle too...

Cheap feeders for less waste until you can do pvc...

I also use them for water too...

I made one of those for my ducks water when they were little, but ones promptly dove completely into the jug, panicked, and made his way out a different hole! I threw the jugs away! Lol

I use pvc with nipples for my big girls water.

Ann Rice is good! I think you might like
Jack Kerouac or Chuck Palahniuk.

@RubyNala97 I haven't used Blue Seal, but have heard of many who do and say it's a good feed... it's definitely better than duMor for sure...

Thanks! That's great to hear. I really don't want to travel when I have blue seal right down the road.

My nephew is almost 29 and you have to decipher what he writes. I have to give him credit though cause the school wanted him to take the "special" diploma (IEP diploma I believe) and graduate and he refused. He wanted the standard diploma, and he was almost 20 before graduating, but he got it.

I'm just me...
