She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

Well, there are 32 eggs in there, temp is staying stable and humidity is running about 34%.
Here we go!

Did you feel like you were going to crack any?
I don't think she is a drunken Canadian computer programmer

Omg. So exciting! Looks good. How was it getting the eggs in there? Did you feel like you were going to crack any?

Actually it was a little frustrating! These eggs are really tiny, around 35 grams. The Japanese are all under 30 grams! I got 5 rows in there, and had to use one foam strip to fill some space. I think the hard part is going to be trying to get them out to candle. I'm thinking this will make me not candle so much.... maybe....

Really?? Here in public school, you not only have to get your child's supplies but supply half the class as well because "we" (I say that with much sarcasm) believe in "community" supplies in the classroom.... Sore subject with me......
Kind of like paying thousands in education taxes every year when you don't have kids, huh?

Those are lovely!
Thanks to all who commented on the eggs

The narcissist in me wanted to quote all of you, but I just picked one

To be totally honest, it was cloudy outside, and the eggs appear just a hair darker in the pic than they really are, but the flash on the camera washed them out, so I used that one. They are very dark, but that pic is a bit much. The one on the right is one of my average eggs, probably a 5-6, and I do get some lighter. The one to the left is a solid six, and the one in the rear is a solid 7. I have 4 girls that I bought when they were a year old, and two were molting when I bought them. These 2 super dark eggs I have gotten the last few days must be their first post-molt eggs, but I am very pleased with the color

Take the entire tray out, then candle down from the fat end with the eggs in place. You won't see as much as you can holding them, but you will see enough to make out air cells and veins

When you said 32 I was shocked. I thought you got the 20. Then I realized they were tiny eggs.

silly me

Yea, its only the 20. I was surprised that I could get that many. I had tested with a small silkie egg the night before, so I knew if I bought that many, I could get them in there. I think I could have gotten maybe 4 more in.

Setting the whole tray in there made me a little nervous. I'd probably be worse pulling the whole thing out, but I'll try it. I'll relax in 7 more days anyway. Thanks for the tip.

I also ran my Spot Check through the vent hole and hung the tip just above the eggs (taped it into place on the outside). After that Chinese knockoff's temperature being all over the place, it was nice to see the Spot Check stay on one number consistently!
