She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

thank you for the input Walnut and Ravyn…..reason I posted the pic is that there is movement in the egg, which I found weird. I am very new to all this and was wondering if there was any explanation for the movement.

Movement?? Now I'm kinda freaked... for a day 18 chicken egg, that looks very underdeveloped... I seriously do not know what to tell you about it or what to do with it...

the view (turning it 180 degrees) is completely opposite of what u see on the pic. It looks like a normal 17-18 day developed egg. I am also freaked out and that is why I am posting. When I twisted and saw this side of the egg and saw that there was movement I freaked out as well. I am at a loss.

does not smell at all.

In about 2 hours my 18th day officially begins. I have been reading about lockdown and most recently read a thread here on BYC that states to avoid starting lockdown until you see evidence of internal pipping…..
Do I at least remove the automatic turner without officially starting lockdown?

Yes, at least remove the turner... lockdown is variable depending on who you ask... I really don't do a 'lockdown' but my setup is different from others too...

It is good to stop turning and remove the turner somewhere between day 15 and 18
You will find that what there saying on the link will be leave the humidity low until they start pipping internally, eggs starting to move is what I would use an indication that it is time to raise the humidity
