She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

(Channeling Bruce)

I know it was a big Cadillac
Crushed velvet seat
Riding on the back
gliding down the street
Waving to the girls
Feeling out of sight
Spending all my money
On a Saturday night
Honey, I just wonder what it feels like on the back
Of your big Cadillac

Now some folks say he's too big
And uses too much grass
Some folks say he's too old
And that he goes too fast
But that horse is bigger than a Honda
It's bigger than a Subaru
Hey man there's only one thing
And one horse that will do
Anyway we don't have to ride him
Honey, we can park him out in back
And have a party with your big Cadillac
There ya go! A good padded trooper saddle better than crushed velvet any day.

I don't do Bruce

You're further north. He never took off down here :gig

Whateva! I think we already established there are lots of musical preferences here. Don't smack somebody for liking someone you don't like. I thought her lyrics were quite creative!

Worked on coops this weekend. Finally got the old one painted, and started building the new one. Still have to put on the roof, cut doors/windows in, and add a lid to the nest boxes. Then add the run. The current chicks use the old coop, automatic door, free-range all day long. But the new pen is for my LO's and I think I will keep them in their run all day. We're going to attach the new run to the old one, and can cut into the fence between, if I decide to let them mingle later.
(My pond is just beyond the gravel driveway, between the two coops, in the first pic)

What part of SC y'all in? We had 30 acres south of Florence for a while several years back. Wanted to retire down there, but the 'skeeters had other ideas.
We're in upstate, Greenville area

Those look really nice. I'm getting winded just thinking about toting lumber up and down those hills

Is that a motion light on the corner of the coop? I need to get some of those for those night time hay bales...
ETA: So the en suite bathroom didn't make it to camp?

Thanks. And everything is hills here!

(if you notice the tire in the first pic, that's a Polaris Ranger... I let it do the heavy toting)

Yes, that's a motion light. Solar panel on the end of the coop. That sucker is bright! I think its just a cheap one from HF, but it works well.

You almost lost me with the en suite bathroom, but I bet they do miss it! Maybe I should move it for them...
