She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

I'd be very careful about blindly following the advice of a study done under controlled conditions. An LG would smell like a locker room after 10 days.

A lot of my issues that I work out through my humor come from growing up in an addicted family. I have a lot of anger because of it, and I channel that anger through humor, mainly at Amy's expense :gig
The reason I am still angry at 42 is because the addiction is still there. No one ever took responsibility for their own lives, it was always everyone else's fault. Kudos to you for taking responsibility for your own life, and making changes that are a benefit to you and your family :thumbsup
Well thank you very much, it's very beneficial for an addict to hear praise, it helps alot and strengthens my resolve, so thank you. I have learned to make light of the things that have hurt me most in life, sometimes it's the only way to live with them so I use humor alot also to replace the anger. I think that is the first serious comment I've seen from you!! Lol

If there's bacteria in them, they will stink... you can smell it through the shell for really bad ones, or when you crack them in a bowl if it's just started to develop...
We're the oddballs in the US... Europe doesn't wash or refrigerate their eggs and don't see them droppjng like flies all over the place...

I dont know what to do. I think the float test would be fine, any bacteria inside would be cooked off right? I dont plan on eating any raw eggs. Lol.

Do you know I've been dying to see an internal pip! I never have. My first couple hatches I didn't dare open the incubator during lockdown. I thought for sure I would kill all my eggs. Then Amy convinced me it would be ok. So I keep looking for one. But all my eggs have managed to externally pip without me catching the internal pip!
I saw a pic online of an egg tray that I'm assuming was for a cabinet bator that candled all the eggs at once, but it's from the bottom (small end) but I thought that was so cool and a really good idea. They need to make an egg turner that candles the eggs. I might invent that instead of the fiberglass bator. Or maybe that can be a feature of my bator. We've come up with a name for the bator btw, it's rated PG though!! ;) I'm sure some of you can guess it :gig

You won't get it much, so don't get used to it :smack
If you have kids, stay on the right path for them. By the time they are in their 20s, they will be adults, and may not be able to move past the things that a child could. I won't go to my dads funeral
Ok, enough of that. Tell me more about your flaccid probe :gig

That would be an awesome feature. Especially for shipped eggs. You wouldn't have to handle them or open the incubator and let heat/humidity out!! If you make it, let me know and sign me up for 2!

So so true! Kids are so forgiving! They are just so accepting and love unconditionally. I am here today because of mine!
