@WalnutHill how's your hatch coming along?
Nothing yet, they are technically due to hatch tomorrow but these darn Brinseas might be too stable to let me enjoy early hatches.
Kind of boring, I must say...I filled up the wells when we got home last night and went to bed.
I was doing a lot of researching over in the feeder section of this site, trying to find one that solved my major spillage problem. Found this same feeder, in addition to several bucket feeders, on the "Show Me Your Feeders" thread. This one seemed like it would address my particular issue better than the bucket feeders, and was easier to make, at least for me, so I went with it; haven't been disappointed.Cool feeder - I think I'm going to make one of those for oyster shell. May also try one of those 5 gallon bucket feeders - anybody have one?

Enjoy your day everyone! I have to get in gear for our family picnic!
Making some Shrimp/smoked Sausage skewers,
meatballs encased in layered butter biscuits baked, then smothered in butter, garlic and parm cheese, dipping sauce!
Chicken and mushroom skewers,
Dev eggs & hot dogs (of course)
Salted Pretzel Caramel Brownies
Strawberry pretzel salad
and we are going to make the kiddos "alch free" Seductive Swan drinks
(just a lemon sugared rim glass with mashed blackberries in bottom, crushed ice and lemon aid)
Will be lovely!!!
No signs of feathers or dead chick, and none of the slightly older ones look hurt or upset, though all but 2 are now roosting at night.
I'm only loosing the 1 weeks olds
So little and cute!
Hope you figure out what it is!
Since it dissapeared....first....beautiful birds! Have fun!
Getting the lineup together for the parade
In the meantime, here's one of the new feeders the girls love

I don't have a walk-in coop, so the "foot print" a feeder takes up in the run was also a consideration for me.
