She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

LOL thanks, it didnt cost much at all, and the floor is paper bags, ceiling tiles ripped down and sprayed with watered paint ha ha ha!!

I am really OCD like the wall in the pics with the bators, I wanted to stagger the boards but he took off work and I came home to that area complete.  He said he did stager, but one row stager dont work for my eye!  just like our laminate floor upstairs, they have long seams! who does that? ugh  I cant wait to rip it up, at least it should be easier to do with the seamed layout!

Yay!! Another to join us in our crazy CDO, lol... :highfive:

Paper bags and ceiling tiles... amazing...

And I agree, that's not staggering, lol... ;)

My problem is that DH won't let me collect anything for supplies. He doesn't like stuff sitting around.

I'd have to find a whole projects worth of stuff at once - so we end up paying more for new lumber!

that stinks! skids stack cleanly aside the garage with poison ivy growing all over them LOL

Looks great Sally! My sister did the same paper bag thing in her basement.
I am not a fan of it in a room with a coal stove though.... I cant keep it clean as dark as it got, I wish I would have went light in color :( but I cant rip it up

and my knees dont work anymore, probably because of that floor!!!

always heard if you soak the wood the nails pull easier . if the pallet is made of oak and ring shank nails or spiral nails . tear apart is tear up most of the time . I don't use them in construction . my nail guns split them out shooting 16 ring shanks . I've framed a few houses with hammer and nail . and don't use one more than I need to . but I've been lucky getting old deck lumber from my jobs. what I can I use what I can't goes to taco city. .

It looks awesome. I always wondered if it was a pintrest fail or someone could actually "nail it" lol

Mine used to be like that... then he found many uses for a lot of my 'salvages'... and pieces that were perfect for this or that... he stopped complaining, lol...
