She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

I got to our camp and hubby has been busy today. The other coop will be added to the other side, and runs on each side, to keep the breeds separated. The center will be our storage area and egg collection area, and water fill. The back couple of feet of the building will have an inside area for the birds to eat and drink, in the winter, where we can keep the water from freezing and snow out. He did pretty well without me today. Hope the rain holds off tomorrow!

I love love hatching silkie eggs..I asked first if you ship eggs... here are some of my babies. And big girls. And a SG.

I'll see what I got... need new pics, but most of them look like crap right now due to molting, lol...

I know, right?? Just when you think you're happy with what you got someone posts pics, lol...
Yeah, I thought I was getting RIR's when I ordered mine as pullets from Southern States last Spring. Didn't realize til recently that what they sold me was Sex-links. Don't think I didn't let them know what I thought when I found out! I probably shouldn't complain too loud; I understand Sex-link hens are better layers than RIR's, and fresh eggs are the primary reason we keep chickens, plus, I just like fooling with them. Had animals pretty much my whole life...dogs, fish, horses, goats, couple of steers, adopted cats...

I know nothing about Silkies, they are not really my thing.  Lots of people love them though.

My problem is that DH won't let me collect anything for supplies. He doesn't like stuff sitting around.

I'd have to find a whole projects worth of stuff at once - so we end up paying more for new lumber!
he could never live here. I have stuff all over the place and bring more home all the time..love my stuff I could build a hundred pallet breakers and only buy welding rods. but since I keep those on hand I wouldn't have to buy them . my pallets get used to stack rocks blocks bricks or whatever I come home with on. this is my first coop got tired of things killing the hens needed a storage shed had a job tearing down a house the siding came from there the roof is a car port from there al most finished with it not good at painting never have time .

Very nice! I gotta work on new duck coop, poured buckets on us today though, lol... but is nice and cooler now, thankfully...

Those are adorable! I don't do SG's though, lol... I get some with vaulted skulls in my batches too... not all, but a few... I need to work on their colors badly though... :/

Irritating when things aren't what they claim to be, I know... that's why I'm always honest about my own birds... :)
