She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

Thank you... he's a big, sweet baby too, lol...
I'm already working on that project... only hatched a few chicks last batch, got some more in bator now due next Fri... gotta grow them out and breed the pullets back to him... these chicks are all Splits, so next gen should be half n half splits and Lavs...

Ok I still want to see those results!

My Wheaten Ameraucanas have way too much black in their hackles, so I'll trade them out for better stock next year. (They were a gift so I'm not complaining!) And of course I have neuro chick, who will probably stick around as a layer, or go to the swap next spring.

Love the wheaten coloring and how the males are so different than the females. If Tuck, my little WA roo sticks around, I'll put him over my BCM pullet and hatch out some olive eggers.

Here is my latest, hatched last night. Black..had to put him/her in the fall decorations. Just starting to get the hang of those legs! Happy Fall! I hear that some are getting warmer temps..like us. Not feeling very fallish right now! But, in a few days, our temps will be dropping quite a bit, more like our Sept.
So cute! I miss my new babies tonite.

Glad to see you have good taste in music. :)

I wonder who is the oldest...you, or me? Let's see if you know who sang.....One Is The Lonliest Number? And, Nights' In White Satin..everyone knows that one, but it was my fav.

Here's one..I still love. I loved The Carpenters. I know, I'm old!

Strange, I broke down 2 truckloads of pallets with a 20oz straight claw hammer & one of those black/yellow pry bars; no problem at all, & never broke a board. Even salvaged a bunch of straight nails for use later. It's all in the wrist!

You got that right. I took three months and disassembled a 3100 square foot 2 story timberframe house with hand tools, saving all the wood and most of the nails. A few pallets can't be much of a challenge. I guess I should try before I talk, though.

I got to our camp and hubby has been busy today. The other coop will be added to the other side, and runs on each side, to keep the breeds separated. The center will be our storage area and egg collection area, and water fill. The back couple of feet of the building will have an inside area for the birds to eat and drink, in the winter, where we can keep the water from freezing and snow out. He did pretty well without me today. Hope the rain holds off tomorrow!

starting to look like SC there. looks good and looks like a good plan I like it hope the rain stays away so you can get more done.

Friday, I just love Jack! And Grischa is awesome! Where does that name come from?
I gave them all Russian names - Jack started out as Jack Frost/Morosko since he had a ton of white feathers as a juvenile. He's not white anymore, so I just call him Jack now. Grischa is short for Gregory or Georgi - She's my little "Georgy girl"

Remember the songs; not the artists. I saw Brenda Lee on the Arthur Godfrey Show @13(?)...that give you a clue? And don't you DARE ask me who Arthur Godfrey was!
