She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

Again, ladies and gentlemen, note that his feet are FIRMLY planted in purple. Why they are so deeply planted that you can't even see them.

Darn. I was hoping someone would say "Candle them! Now!!" Lol. K, I'll keep an ear out for peeping.
Megan, do I have to send you to your chair???

If I go out in sandles they always go after my skin! lol Worse if I go out barefoot!!!!
Time to get out your little fiberglass pole or your squirt gun and educate them. They are smarter than you think, and are fully capable of learning that the toes belong to the treat bearer.

Mine are silver spangled Appenzeller Spitz so they are white with the black (dalmation) spots. I love crests!!! lol
This is my roo:

And this is my hen:

If anything comes of my banty broody thing I might get another one before spring...lol

I'm actually considering getting another dozen of eggs from the girl that I got these from to hatch next spring. I wanted four girls and two boys but I hatched 11, sold 5 early on keeping what I was hoping was 4 girls and 2 boys only to find 5 crowers...lol So My nephew took the extra roos. Out of the 5 early ones I sold I was sure 4/5 were boys. So if I was right- I ended up with 2/11 hens out of that hatch....lol Now I have a female and male....

Too many breeds, not enough space! I think I would like to have some of those though...

I'm heading out this evening to go see my son's official swearing-in ceremony! He's a fireman, but they only do the ceremony every so often, so he finally gets to be official. I'm so proud of him, I just had to share..

That's awesome WV, congrats! Always good when the kids make you proud. And a fireman :thumbsup .
Honestly I was worried she would set on the right ones the next day and then I would be like "are they dead or alive?" since it's 45 degrees here at night. I did it for myself. Really I did. I'm innocent!
I'm sorry side wing......welcome to team purple my friend!!! ;)
Ok, I have a ?: If I can't candle how do I know when and if these little guys have pipped internally?
I am going to say that....although I try not to candle during lockdown......I always candle once right before bed but my humidity was 75%+ so I was quick to grab one and look then put it back....only lifting and lowering the lid so. Barely had a drop in temp or humidity.
I just thought you were interrogating sideWing. All three of those pictures zooming in all at once was intimidating.
:lau I thought the same thing. :gig

Pound on the bator to wake them up. J/K! Tap, tapping is ok. And, check this out, and everyone says to leave that lid on. Poo.... I am one to candle on day 20 if I don't see anything..just curious as to what is going on in there.

Is anyone here good at sexing Silkies? Mine are almost 3 months. I know it's almost impossible til they crow or lay an egg but I figured I'd ask.

Oh those little stinks take a while. But, When they are about 4 months old, if you see some with more long legs than the others, or, if they have more of a trailing thing going on in those silkie fluffy tail feathers, pretty good chance you have a boy.
