She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

Ok, so I'm positive I'll be smacked repeatedly for this confession

but... I candled real quick and all are still alive and active. Don't see any internal pips yet but it's still early on day 20. I made sure the humidity and temp stayed close to where it should be.

no smack for that from me, since you have no pips.

We have two smoker/bbq units. I want to build a cabinet unit and hook it up with dryer vent tubing to make a cold smoker for loks and cheeses too.

I have a Smokey Mountain cabinet smoker (propane) and cold smoke with it all the time...I just use a mix of wet and dry wood chips and no propane. But I am going to build a set-alongside burner box that will duct into one of the side vents on the big cabinet by way of vent pipe. That will allow me better fuel monitoring and smoke control in addition to the cool smoke.

Just be sure that with cold smoking, curing salt is ALWAYS used...

At least you know there's still life.

:hit
Yes, that's what I was so worried about. I feel better now that I know they're still alive. I'm just worried cause some of them still look really small in their eggs. And some of the air cells appear to be kind of small but I can't really tell cause they are so messed up and shaped all weird. Guess I'll know by tomorrow if any of them will make it.

That's not how it works.
Welcome to the thread :smack

:lau :gig

And yet, you and BR are the only ones allowed to :hugs me...
It's all very complicated :gig

Not true....I have smacked you a few times myself and do have a few others...(shaking my finger at you) shame, shame.

Ok, so I'm positive I'll be smacked repeatedly for this confession  but... I candled real quick and all are still alive and active. Don't see any internal pips yet but it's still early on day 20. I made sure the humidity and temp stayed close to where it should be.
