She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

Hatching Calls is definitely a whole new ball game, lol... it isn't called the Call Duck Challenge for no reason... :gig

Seriously, it is very difficult, especially with shipped... be prepared to lose sleep, tear your hair out, bawl like a baby, throw tantrums and be super frustrated... and then celebrate every single successful hatch like it is the last thing you'll do...

I'm prepared to do my homework all winter. I've decided that's what's going to get me through my winter blues. I have a question for you. I spoke to a call duck breeder and he knows the breeder I'm getting the eggs from and said she's excellent BUT sq call eggs have about 60-70% fertility, then take into account a 50% hatch rate on shipped and I'd be lucky to get 1 or 2 out of a dozen. So...do you think this is probably true and if so, should I get 2 dozen eggs?

:fl. Good luck!!!!! I can't wait either!!

@RubyNala97 those are too stinking cute!!!! I can't wait for egg swapping time!!! ;) :weee

Awesome!! I'm hoping to have a good breeding set up by spring!

Figured you got swept out to sea; heard South Carolina got rocked pretty hard.

I do my deer hunting with my Ruger .270 or my compound bow, squirrels/chipmunks with my pellet rifle.  Though I have quite a few other firearms to choose from, those are my most-used.
Is it the Ruger Hawkeye? My husband had a Ruger 270 Hawkeye with a stainless barrel and a really nice high powered scope, that was his favorite gun, but he eventually sold it. Now he's kicking himself for it. He just bought a Remington model 770 270 last week and he doesn't like it anywhere near as much.

I can post again! Woo hoo, yee haw! How is everyone fairing back east? Prayers going out to all y'all on the right coast. Good morning all!

Savannah fared well. Just high tides and small flooding but nothing like SC. I am glad we can finally post again. I wonder what that was all about.

I have a badge, so I can do this.
Just dropped in to say:

:smack  Leave that bird alone. She'll introduce them to you when she's done

:smack  This one just felt good

So..
The badge gives you freedom to do what you want where you want!!!!???? :lau

Finally caught, up... again, lol. Sorry I disappeared yesterday, got outside with the gals and guys and didn't want to come back in. 1 of my little Nanny roos seems to have a girlfriend now, she likes to follow him around and cuddle next to him, it's so cute. But he still seems to want to sit and just stare at me, weird. He's a strange bird. The other nanny roo is in hog heaven now that there's 8 hens to "play" with ;)

I'm glad it wasn't just me that couldn't post. I wonder if it was a mobile vs. desk top type issue? Glad to hear you made it through the last storm.

I'm one that will never need an apology for your popping in and out. I have to as well. Family and farm life is busy. So here's a
