Hahahaha!!! I didnt even know that Koreans had a fertility chart. Now I have to look this up. Mine was wrong. It told me my second child was going to be a boy but it was a girl. Lol!!!!

Yes. It's to do with the woman's (mother's ) age and the month of conception.... something along those lines. I didn't seek the info before pregnancy, but looked into the gender thing after I got pregnant. If I had used that to plan, I'm not sure that I'd have the household hormonal imbalance that I do. Boys are gross, love them, but boy howdy.

I was wondering if you could rub hand sanitizer on them, would that seep into the shell and kill the embryo? I mean not as a long-term-til-hatch solution but like right after you wash them to kill most of the nasties on the shell before they can get in.

I've wondered too.

Gotta go back, but wanted to comment on this first... Ruby heard about some dipping theirs in Listerine and swearing by it, but I would not do either Listerine or hand sanitizer...
Reason why... both contain alcohol... before it evaporates some will seep in... alcohol is proven to cause birth defects in mammals so to me that is too much of a risk of causing damage to embryo of any animal...

I was just reading online and I found something called quaternary ammonium, it is safe for hatching eggs, it sanitizes them and it leaves risidual protection on the eggs.
