Mine may be going down the same road before long. Went to open up this morning & as usual he let his girls file out first. He came past me in the open gate & caught me in the calf. I wasn't sure whether it was intentional or not, since I didn't see it coming, so I let him be. Went out later to collect eggs & he made a run at me, only this time I was ready for him & caught him amidships. We'll see if he needs any more altitude adjustment.

I love messing with my husbands bike. There isn't much difference, car motors are just bigger, I bet you could do it.

Nope, we've rebuilt some, but my bike was only a 650 single cylinder, so it was easy. More complicated than that, I'd have a lot more missing pieces.

It won't; only have the one rooster...searching CL for an eventual replacement, anyway, for some new blood.

What do you ride? I bowl with a lady who rides Harley's. Last I heard, she had a Fat Boy. She & hubby go on a lot of group rides & bike weeks, like OC; haven't made it to Sturgis, yet.

I'm only 110#, all the Harley's felt too top-heavy to me, even the Sportster.... not to mention the funds! I have a 650 Suzuki S40 (newer version of the old Savage). Cute little bike with plenty of power to keep up with hubby's 1500. We used to do a lot of riding... bike camping, etc. Haven't ridden it in a couple of years since I moved (and got involved with chickens!) Anybody wanna buy it? LOL
