She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

I ran mine my dry and kept between 20 and 25% and had the best hatch rate off shipped eggs.
Well I guess it was figured out?
That's what I use. Works great!!
My girl is great now. She healed up nicely.
:smack. Yes it did. Goes to show how much you know.

Haven't treated him yet. Ran out too quickly Friday evening. Will check him out tomorrow and see how he looks. Did buy some Ivermectin, and will probably treat with that anyway.

I did notice his hackle feathers had a red (bloody?) tint to the Friday, but it was right before I fell and busted my arse, so I didn't get time to really check him out before we had to leave.
Will post an update tomorrow.

Hmmm. I'm sorry he's gone all splotchy
On you. It almost looks like bbq drippings, the condensed smoke.

Oh wow, a lot of detail in those

Yep, I couldn't see in most of them that well. So I'm thinking these 3 may be a little behind, but the veins still look strong, so we'll just have to wait and see.

I removed all the clears last night. 16 of 32. Well, 14 actually clear, 2 had small bits of blood, but no development. 16 left doing well.

Are quail eggs more of a challenge to be fertile?

I really don't know. Hopefully someone else will chime in. This is my first time trying to hatch them, but from what I've read, they are more difficult to hatch because of their size. But the numbers I saw (50-60% rate) may have included infertile ones, and I didn't realize it! It also could be the time of year. I had a few eggs with hairline cracks, so I'm wondering if they didn't get too cold. The weekend I got these eggs was during that blizzard.
