Thanks!Wow! Good luck with Frieda this time around!

My little divider contraption didn't help in my incubator. It was an inch or so below the top screen and I have no way to turn off the fan, so it circulated the humidity anyway. So I took the divider out and plugged my turner back in. I did shift sides with all the eggs though. Moved the ones that need more humidity to the back, and brought the others to the front. And inserted a piece of sponge in the back area. Now I'm going to leave it alone until lockdown on Friday.![]()
Thanks!Aww, I was really hoping at least one egg would hatch for you! But nature is nature....after a month your Broody's instincts knew that she should have already had babies! I can't wait for my 1 month olds to become adult chickens and to get to see their adult behavior. I'm pretty sure I have a male & a female. So they will be my keepers, no matter what. Good luck with the new shipped eggs! Have you read the article I posted awhile back about shipped eggs? It was written by a vet that hatched rare birds shipped half way around the world. (I'll send you a link if you haven't/ or would like to read it). I've followed it this time and all shipped eggs made it to lockdown. Once my birds start laying, if you ever want eggs just pay the shipping and I'll send some! Update when you get your eggs and let me know how the air cells look!![]()
Frieda was Nameless for a few months--I'd told my girls that my husband got to name her, since he picked her up on the way home from a ministry trip. 'Twasn't anything to do with forstalling the then-5-year-old naming her Happy Socks after a friend's puppy...

I think I'm at about 14 ft elevation, so that's one thing I don't have to worry about![]()
I have deleted the first three replies and pics I have posted for this, so I'll just let it goCan everyone step aside for a minute. I don't want anyone to get hit in the crossfire....

I've got some pent up aggression and SC is just asking to get smacked. (No, really he asked for it...practically begged.)
I don't need to wind up for it, cause I got my inner Qi and the force is with me....
I'm not going to lie......
It IS going to hurt you more than it hurts me. (At least I hope so.)
Don't look now!!!

Told you not to look.....

Now that wasn't nice of me....so very unlike me....here, let me help you.....
![]()
But you're right.....

I do feel so much better now....
I think I can even return to my normal angelic self (until next time you start in about my typing/spelling.)

Didn't hurt...Good smack AmyLynn! SC deserved it.![]()
Ruby duck eggs r hard because temp has to be very precise. But with a broody duck or hen its easy. I just had a 100% hatch rate on mine.
Didn't hurt...
Gorgeous! I would love to do some elk hunting down there.
