It can take 3 frames per second...I'm told that 5 FPS would be better for pets...but that one wasn't on sale.

Sorry about your eye, Amy. I know how you feel. My left eye got damaged one time and the pupil dilated and remained that way for two days! Made my sinuses run and gave me a horrible migraine as well. Time to put some safety goggles on when you go in there. lol

Ok, looking for basic design requirements for my multi-purpose young chicken coop/run. The roofed coop area is 24' x 8', and I am planning a run area outside (using that pool fencing I posted about before, with plastic deer mesh as a roof). Using one spreadsheet model, I could end up with 212 birds in that space. They would be a mixture of ages, from 2-3 week-old (hens and roos) to 14 week-old roos. Hens move to the main coop at 8 weeks, or processing at 10 weeks. FWIW, I am adding an outdoor run to the main coop also.

I'm only looking for numbers for the young chicken run, really. I can figure out the roosting requirements, its really just floor space per bird I'm asking about. For example, can you tell me how much space a 3 week-old 8 week-old, and 14 week-old needs? Just ball parks...lolz, I know this sounds dumb, I should just give them all the space I can and get over it...but my biggest fear is that I put so many birds together and wake up the next morning to find half of them with bloody beaks, and the other half dead.

Hey, camera buffs...question for you. I'd like to get photos of each of my birds, but by myself its hard to hold them let alone use 2 hands to take the pic with my camera phone (which sucks anyway). So, what's cheap, doesn't require 2 hands to get a focused picture (as in it auto focuses and doesn't need me to press a little for it to focus, then press some more), and can take a bunch of pictures quickly (so I can pick the one where the chick isn't flapping its wings or turned away from the camera). It also needs a flash that can keep up with the picture taking. The Canon EOS Rebel T5 seems to have all the features I want, but up here its C$400, just wondered if anyone can think of a cheaper one??
