Ugh my phone messed up. I hate that Apple has the side swipe thing. Anyways, that's a pretty chicken! You're a pro so you'll be goodThey are good ole barnyard mixes. lol They are actually my first attempt with my pullet eggs. Biting my nails on this one. My hens are silkie, polish/silkie, nn/ee, black austrolorp mix, a white one with silkie mix in her (5 toes and lighttly feathered feet). My Alpha roo is a nn and this is my Omega roo, that I have no clue what his mix is:![]()
A couple of the air cells look a bit small and a couple eggs look a bit behind, but it's hard to tell from a side candle. It's easier to see what's going on if you actually candle down into the egg from the air cell. It illuminates it better and gives a clearer picture.Ugh my phone messed up. And that will be fun to see what you get!
I took some candleing pictures and had the husband help. I honestly think the air sacs look bigger when I compare to my pictures last night. I'm just wondering if all the eggs look good. I think three are good and others are questionable, but maybe they are just behind? Should I put them in crates or do you guys this the sacs look good? And should I lock down and turn up the humidity? It's day 19, but I do think they're behind. At least a few are, IMO.

My older (now ex-)stepsister (2 years and 6 days--she was supposed to be born on Christmas, too, but she was early! Our birthdays were always kept separate from Christmas. Looking back, that was an expensive week for Dad and Wendy!) liked Luke more.
As far as accents... I actually don't hear anything other than my own voice when I read what people say, unless I've spoken with the person on the phone a lot (or very recently). I've been involved with a British-based site for almost 14 years now, so I've gotten used to describing my accent as "Generic American" although the technical name for my accent is Midlands. Accents tend to run together a bit for me, too--there have to be really big differences for me to tell them apart. I'm weird in another way, too--I had 2 friends from h2g2 (that website...) that I was talking to fairly regularly on the phone--one was a 16-year-old upper-class Bostonian, and the other was taking post-grad classes in Toronto, but was from Northern England. No one could decipher what I meant when I insisted that they had the same exact voice, except for the accents (which were quite different). I mean, isn't it obvious that it means exactly what is says?![]()

Thank you so much! I tried to candle with the light going into the air sac down, the pictures suck, I think I need a better light, but they all just look black. Here's a few pics, they all pretty much look the same, can't see the air sac though because my light is too big, I had to put my hand there.
