She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

Ah the average. And how was that average taken? Oh never mind.

And I thought my LO's were expensive! Sheesh!

I'm not opposed to paying for quality. I guess I just don't know enough about them to know what they are worth... yet... But I'd be so scared with hatching eggs that I paid that much for! I think I'd have to take 3 weeks off work to tend to the bator. Even a Brinsea! lol

Talk about watching it like a vegetarian hawk. Then once they hatched, they'd have to live inside! LP said that they charge that much b/c they don't want e1 to have their line. I bet it's working. lol
Took out 2 more hatchlings to the coolerbator to dry off. Checked the last three eggs. The upside down strange one stopped developing between day 16 and hatch and cooled down quickly. The other 2 have not internally pipped but still held their heat and the eggs look full up so I have put them back. Technically day 21 will end at 530pm.
Some bugger placed a bid 2 minutes before the Ameraucana eggs auction ended. I wasn't having that and increased my bid and got them for $32.00 with $8.00 shipping from florida, so not too far. I will probably be up for some more next spring SC. As out of 10 5 of them will be roosters and I didn't have too much luck out of the last shipped ones. I did get the 3 turkey poults that I wanted though.

Awesome! We will probably go that route eventually. Is it too hot to ship eggs right now? Would they start incubating in the truck? lol
I came home to a gift from one of my girls!! I'm so excited!!

More than you know sweetie.
Well in case you were wondering ....my hubby comes everywhere with me when I go to meet people. He's very protective that way.
I love the first egg and GC lay huge eggs. You should blow it out and keep it as a momento!!!

Oh boy!!!! How old are they when they can actually be getting the job done??

Someone else mentioned blowing it out and saving it. It's so pretty, I might just do that!

That's a good husband then, Ross.

I may have 5 kids, but I have some time before I hit 40!
Bless your heart! lol

Ah the average. And how was that average taken? Oh never mind.
Ross, no offense to be taken please. I'm not saying you're 40.

I said sweetie too!!! You're not old. I am too loving the walrus stuff.

@scflock I meant that others were upset because you catagorized everyone.... as 40+ average age! My soul is definitely around 50 so I understand.

I didn't say 40 was old. 40 ain't old. 50 ain't old. 60 ain't old. 70? Maybe. Actually, nah. 70 ain't old.

I don't mind 'sweetie'. I call little girls younger than I honey. Haha.

Agreed. Stick with the walruses, SC. :gig

Thank you. Actually I don't feel any older than I did yesterday!

Nah, age is just a number! My brain knows its a high number, but my spirit doesn't, so that's what matters!

Seriously, I wonder if its a geographical thing. Sweetie... honey... ya know? To me, its an endearing term for any other female. Here in WV, you drive through McDonald's and you'll get called sweetie or honey almost every time!

Is there anyone that actually thinks the AVERAGE age of this thread is under 40, even figuring in the tweens?
