That's NC and higher. From here, south, and a little west, it's mawnin. Gulf coast is mowerning, except Texas. That's Howdy. Howdy is a word that means many things, just like Aloha in Hawaiilol and here I thought it was "mornin'".

I may have missed the explanation, but why are you hand turning?Ok, so I have been hand turning this hatch. (And yes, I wash my hands...lol) I have 6 set aside, (but I have to be honest and say I've been doing 7 cause I didn't have an extra polish egg to candle...lol) but the rest I have marked to candle day 7/14/18 (it's killin' me, I tell ya!)
So I have noticead on one of the non-candleing eggs a discloration, almost like oils spots forming around the egg. It started to worry me so I gave in and decided to candle the egg, because I don't want any eggsplosions interfering with the others. And as I thought, it looks as though pretty much as soon as developement started, it stopped. It has a very faint blood ring around the surface of the yolk. So I'm tossing it! Which puts me at 20 eggs and all the candling eggs look great so far. If you want to know how the other's look just tell me and if you really want to know I will candle them for you.![]()
This was the egg I pulled. If you enlarge it you should be able to see the marks I'm talking about:

I had such a good outcome last time? lol And I don't like the extra heat that the turner motor throws off in that corner either, so I decided to do it again.I may have missed the explanation, but why are you hand turning?
There's nothing bad about it, but I knew she had an auto turner, so I figured she had her reasons for not using itHello everyone! Hope you're all having a good day.
What's so bad about hand turning? I hand turned this hatch. I wash my hands really well and I'm in and out quickly. Hence why my eggs have X's and O's.
Maybe I'll invest in one, but this incubator is borrowed so I do need to buy my own anyway.
Amy- I'm one of those who has to get my hands on as much information as possible, and learn as much as I can. I'm going to look at all your pics as a learning expirience, I haven't had a blood ring or bad egg but I like to look at the pics of others so I know what to do when it happens to me.

Low humidity incubation. I tell you that's the way to go...lolOhhh ok. Just wondering, I need to increase my hatch rate greatly LOL.
