He's handsome! I want BCMs so bad!!!
They were light, but part of the reason the BCM was culled was he was bred terribly. I thought he was a pullet until he was 4 months old. He was marked like the pullets, the same size and everything, then his hackle and saddle color started coming in. He was nowhere near as pretty or big as Tate (I called Tate Little Man while he was growing).They do look to be on the light side, but they also look delicious!
My last incubation, I hatched 22/26 WCBPRossfam06,
we talked about polish hatching issues on another thread. .but I think their vaulted skulls seriously affect their hatching ability..same with silkies with vaulted skulls in my experience. .it may just be bad luck I guess, but when I did eggtopsies on my ladt set of tolbunts, it really looked like their skull prevented them from moving to pip..and if they did manage to pip, then it kept them from being able to zip..
