Are ducks considered easier to hatch? Anyone know. Mine are just doing so well overall, specially for a spaced hatch.

I have found that NO, they are not easier!!! I have the bald spots to prove it!

Most dogs won't go through a rat or possum sized hole. My brothers advice is to shoot the cat when you're done with the test

Have you noticed that you can shoot a cat dead between the eyes with a .22 and it will still run 50 yards, but if you do the same with a 25-06 it's a totally different result?

I think i saw someone ask what incubator i used - if it was a Styrofoam.
It is not I would consider it to be worse than what i have seen of the Styrofoam.

Weird plastic thing - no indicators of whats going on and the setting dial is pretty course too.

i wish i had read all of this site before i put the eggs in instead of at day 22 when i decided i was having troubles.
I got 2 from 18 eggs. only 3 of the 18 didn't have fully formed chicks. the rest died without pipping.
I think the temp may have fluctuated and been cold thought then too high at lock down.

I have never seen that one, and being the resident Brinsea guy I'm insulted that they call it an Octagon 60

Oh, mine do very well, but chickens were easier for me! My momma ducks to much better work than me! Of course, I seem to like punishment... My first incuhatch, I managed to do staggered with some doubles and now early hatchers! Ya me!

well my hatch is staggered a couple days between each. So far have two hatched, one pipped, one internally pipped, one iffy and 4 more that look like they're still doing well.

I put one mutt egg in and the rest should be rouens the mutt is half swede and rouen. Was the first too hatch. Is a cutie

Ya, well his sibling wanted out on Sunday... Bad decision. My momma outside just hatched all hers yesterday, no problems there!
