Lolz, Brinsea egg rails suck unless you're some kinda pro and doing 18 type of fowl, they coulda highlighted "Chicken", as that would be the most common. Even then, the row is left with room at the end so I assume that's what the Styrofoam strips are for...?? Page 18 in the instructions?? (there is no page 18)

Anyway, cracked one egg trying to fit it in where I had put the bar, dropped another...I'm going to do this in the morning....

Put the rails in the slots closest to the eggs without touching. You don't want to squeeze them. I've never cracked an egg. You can use the foam or paper towels to fill the gap at the end of the row. Try to put like size eggs in the rows and the rails will fit better

The instructions for the foam will be in the pump manual. They don't come with the advance, so the instructions are in the pump manual

Get six eggs of the closest size you can, then set the rails around one of them. Usually hens eggs are 11 spaces between bars for me. Much better for the eggs to rock a little than to squeeze them

Ok, this is open to anyone who has a styrobator, I got a spot check digital thermo from C. Botkin (Canadian Brinsea distributor), can I put the whole thing in the bator, or should I just put the probe through the vent hole on the lid?

I put just the probe through, otherwise I have to open the lid to turn it on to get a reading, altering the temperature I am trying to read.
