It's a great morning! I woke up to a heaping 12 beautiful ducklings. Started with 18 eggs five were not fertile out of the 13 eggs all hatched except 1. I candled it but there is no internal pip...should I open it a tad?

Opening is a personal choice. I'm the blue team. I would call it a loss, be ecstatic with the healthy babies, and not go through the trauma. Red team may investigate
 
Instead of multiquoting and taking up a whole page I'm just going to TRY to remember what I wanted to comment on.

Congrats on all the chick and poult hatchers to everyone. The fluff butt pics are cute.

Tattoos. Congrats on the tat. It is cute. I want another, have for a long time, but they are expensive so I haven't gotten it yet. My next will be a wrap around on my right arm with my son's name in script and his dob. I would never have a S.O.s name tattooed or want my name tattooed on someone else. The fin tatoo is different, cool.

SC's eggtopsies: It was about what you expected. I can't wait to see if dropping the humidity makes a difference. I hope so. Good luck!!!

ok thanks! I appreciate all the advice my BYC pals were willing to share. I'll post a pic once they are all nice and dry and in there brooder.

Congrats. If there are no internal pips or obvious movement I would, but I hate prolonging the inevitable where hatching is concerned.
