She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

That's so exciting!! Congrats. Yeah, I agree it needs to be tested, I bet you find those local eggs by tomorrow!
I don't know where the second half of your post went! I used to be a night owl too. It's impossible with a baby...I'd never sleep. And he just hit the submit button before I finished typing! Lol I was going to say that it should work good once winter comes because it gets dark by 4-5 pm anyway. And everyone is stuck inside. You can leave the mornings open and relax and not feel like you're whole day is gone. Good luck this year. I know you two will do great!
When he was a baby we had some pretty bad nights because of gas due to feeding issues. Once we got that straightened out (which seemed like forever before we figured out what was going on) he did well at night and was up early. I was really concerned how well I would do, but I made the adjustment just fine. The older he got the more he wanted to stay up and sleep in and even when he went to bed for school, he still acted like a zombie in the morning. It was clear that he was not going to be a morning person...lol He's most alert and relaxed at night. Thanks for the vote of confidence!!! I'm still searching for our perfect homeschool methods, I think we're closer and getting better every year! lol

Amen, and Amen! We spend too much time tending to the got to's and to things. My trip to Guatemala taught me that things can become a huge liability. We are so rich in posessions that they rob us of the things that truly matter: relationships and time to just simply be. So... take the time to enjoy just sitting with your family. Take the time to marvel at the beauty of your garden, at the chicks frolicking through the grass at Mama broody's side. Feel the sun on your face. All too soon, it will be gone.

Exactly, very well said!

That skunk that I accidentally kicked a couple weeks ago, has been back for two nights in a row now. I went outside late last night and we both startled each other but he didn't run away. And he's back now. It looks like a different skunk but the chances of that are slim. I think he is young and growing. He better steer clear of my chicken coop!!

That is so awesome!! I wanted to home school my children as well but had alot of things on my plate when the thought crossed my mind and just physically as well as mentally couldn't handle the extra load.

Same here!
