She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

You literally took the words outta my mouth.....lol  ;)

4 clears and 2 blood rings? :(   Sorry-that sucks!

lol... and no idea how I did it! :gig

Yeah, sucky odds... it happens... just keeping :fl these 3 do well...

I went to move my clbs to the bigger brooder yesterday and had 3 jump out. I spent 1.5 hours chasing them in the yard.

Now that sounds like CLB's! :lau

Sorry yiu had to chase them though... but at least they're watching out for your health... they just wanted to make sure you got plenty of excerise... :D ;)

As long as you and the eggs are happy!

Dagnabbit! It disappeared! lol

Anyways, have 3 Araucana eggs developing... 4 clears and 2 bloodrings...

That is awesome!! And kinda surprising it's the CLB... usually they're the flightiest... you are doing an amazing job!!!

Well that stinks, but at least you have the 3.

The clb is very shy with me, but she is great with Tempest, If she is cheeping alot she will race to her side and peep gently until Tempest calms down. Tempest is not spinning as much and has more control over the head twitching. If she is looking for food she walks in a straight line. At least my medical training isn't going to waste.

Oh man in this heat. I wouldn't have been chasing much at all. I had all good intentions to weed eat and weed some beds, but all I could manage out there was the chicken chores and cutting the grass.

Hmmm, we here's hoping the last 3 do well for you!

LOL - I can see myself doing that. The little suckers are so fast, especially when they get their wing feathers and do that flapping-run thing a million miles an hour!

Really can't complain on the eggs, they were from a swap, lol... if I could swing the money I'd buy more of them, but think that'll have to wait a bit...
Boadicea sounds like a great little buddy helper and glad you have background for figuring out how to help...
Way too flockin hot for much of anything right now... my birds are threatening to melt, lol... oh, the CLB's Casey was chasing are Boadicea's siblings... :D

Thanks! Hoping too...

Too hot for running and flapping for any of mine... I keep having to check to see if they're still alive, lol... they all flatten out with legs sprawled and everything... between the piles of feathers from molting and flattened, stretched out bodies it looks like they're all dead...

OMG!!!! I think I saw an embryo!!!! I'll post a pic in a minute so y'all can tell me if I'm right. If I can get my signal to cooperate long enough.
K, sorry about the pic quality, apparently my phone doesn't do so well in the dark. Now yall can also see why i had such a hard time with candling these eggs. Is that dark spot up by the air cell the beginning of an embryo?
