If anyone wants to see reeeeeally tall trees, I live maybe a quarter mile from the beach, as the crow flies. We're surrounded by dead ends, so it's about a mile by reasonable travel.

Do you use a turner in your cooler bator? I am trying to figure out how to make one.
Probably better off in the long run just buying one. By the time you find a motor that turns slow enuf, then fashion the egg cups, etc. GNQ marketed one years ago for their Hova-bator...holds 41 eggs...has racks to fit quail thru duck. Mine does the job just fine!...gqfmfg.com

I haven't been able to find one that will fit mine.

no in these I roll the littles and hand turn standards unless in the upright coolerbator.

Yep that is what I do if I need to use it. I have been using mine for icu and to let them dry off after hatching. I built it because I was incubating turkey and chicken eggs and needed it in a hurry. I couldn't afford a 2nd brinsea. It has proved very useful. So I will probably have to hand turn if I use it to incubate again.
