She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

I wouldnt expect it to be transerable but if i can get him to order it under warranty id pay his shipping expense...

I dont neccesarily enjoy hand turning but i do like how easy it is with the octog. I dont run it yet because i just dont want to burn it up and then Need it :-/

That Brinsea parts page link I gave you the other day offers just the turner clutch (likely suspect), just the motor end of the turner cradle, etc. my guess is clutch but you could readily diagnose it and order just what you need and still save a to of $ if it's out of warranty.

Hey Friday, wasn't it you that installed a roof vent fan thing? Or was that just to let light in? Sorry, I can't remember, but wondered how it was working out.

Hubby brought home an in-wall fan thing that he's thinking might be good to install in the coop. Its made to move air from one room to another, but its electric, dual-speed, doesn't blow too hard on low speed. Might work well in the top of a coop.

If you choose to use it, be sure it's UL rated for weather exposure. I haven't seen a through-wall circulation fan that is. An attic vent fan or a plain old louvered vent may be better.

GO CHICKS!

My landlord handles all the yard work. And he let the walkway behind my house grow weeds so high that you couldn't even see the walkway anymore. Then he just whacked them down. So I raked it all up today and put it in the run. Is this over-kill? Will they peck and press and down. I threw whatever worms I found in there too.
