She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

Thank you, that means a lot...

some are a bit harder to catch, but I can handle them all without issues... I try hard to keep them healthy and happy, so they don't get stressed or irritated...

The 'Thor' bird as you call him is following me around like a dog now, lol...

View from our front porch this morn...

Just beautiful.

Yeah, me too.  I wanted to be out and away from civilization, DH can't handle too much isolation.  We found a great compromise here where you feel very rural and there are a lot of horses and tracts of farmland - dirt streets, no streetlights, but we can be in Albuquerque in just a few minutes.  We only have an acre, but it beats the heck out of SoCal suburbia!

We have an acre and a half so far, and on a hill, but sure is nice to be able to grow out all my roosters before picking my keepers... :)

you have a really great view  of the valley . after the first frost the tree color has to be beautiful there .

It really is... I'll take more pics as it changes...

I'm really glad I can have roosters at all. Actually by village code, I can have as many as I want. My husband, on the other hand, is putting up with one so far (and two that haven't started crowing yet!)

Can't wait to see pics of your fall colors. We're in a cottonwood forest by the river, so we get lots of golden brown. Have to go up into the mountains to see the aspens and get brighter color. Nothing like the bright colors of hardwoods!

That's what drives me nuts about this house. The old sections have the old rustic, rough Mexican Pavers, (brought in from Mexico) even in the windowsills. randomly interspersed with Talavera tiles.

The new sections have builder white paint, cheap carpeting, and big white moldings around the windows. (Which I'm going to yank off as soon as I decide on paint colors and find some old tiles) All the brushed nickel will be replaced with wrought iron.

It's not an authentic adobe, but eventually it will be more cohesive and have a "warmer" southwestern feel than it does now. Luckily most of the work is cosmetic - and I can do that!

builders are out to sell houses .a lot of houses are the same house with a different roof line. the bottom line is the most important thing to them .local building codes don't help . they allow contractors to do all kinds of things that aren't right.

This thread moves so fast while I am at work! I try to keep up while there but we have been so busy I can't! Can't wait for the end of this week. Eggs arrive tomorrow! I am concerned because I have read too much. Things saying don't turn the eggs for 3 to 7 days. Then things that say do turn them day 1. And then don't get more started on the humidity debate on shipped eggs! I have a feeling it will all depend on the air cells. So many opinions, I just hope I don't mess it up too much! I want some of these babys to hatch!

Ps, am I the only night owl here? I work until 11 pm currently. :weee

No, you're not, lol... ;)

First... take a deep breath and relax... you have a great resource here and tons of help anytime you ask...

And yes, how you incubate them will depend on how the aircells are when you get them... don't stress over problems that don't even exist until you get them... :)
