I'm pretty sure it's turning like it supposed to, it's in a different position everytime I look in there. I'll keep a closer eye on it though just incas. Maybe it's turning too slow or something? I got eggs from 2 different breeders and all the eggs from 1 breeder look like this. Their the 1's that were really dirty. Over half of them have quit already. They don't look as bad as they did a couple days ago though. The veins actually looked like they were thickening up when I candled them today. They are still growing and moving quite a bit so I'm hoping things will take a turn for the better and I won't loose anymore.Really? And you're sure it's turning correctly? I wouldn't get too worried as long as it's growing and moving. It's a normal look in hand turned, at least both batches of mine that I turned by hand. I don't know why it would have that appearance upright in a turner, but don't count it out. Mine seriously look like that when I'm hand turning and they all made it.Do any of the others look like that?

) went missing and I thought for sure she was dead and gone, we found the remains of the Jersey hen but never found any signs of the Ee hen (Chicken Little) but about 2 weeks ago she popped up in the woods when my husband and my 2 kids were shooting the 22 rifle! We thought for sure she was dead and then 2 or 3 months later she pops up in the woods, apparently doing quite well on her own!! She wasn't to happy about 22 LR rounds flying past her but she was fine. She's still out there, we can't catch her, lol. Hopefully Burn will come back home to you though, Chicken Little was always really stand offish and afraid of people, that's why she never came home.
I am going to put them all on lockdown to make sure I didn't miss anything. Heres a pic of the egg. Like it has dark splotches
