She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

Why don't you make a PVC gravity feeder. I used to use one of those fees store feeders, and wound up with as much feed on the ground as what wound up in the chickens. Built a PVC feeder out of 4" PVC pipe with a "Y" fitting on the bottom & totally eliminated the waste.
It's on my "To Do" list. Just haven't got that far yet...lol

So sorry! That's so sad!!! He was pretty.

Thank you... he was my OH's baby so it's a really rough loss...
It was an owl, I have no doubt... scavengers picked up everything else...
Thank you... he was the sweetest boy too... :hugs
Yea, I know that's hard, I remember when I lost my 1st Nankin hen, it tore me up, she was my favorite 1 :( I'm pretty sure it was a fox or coyote that got my nanny, he drug her down the driveway leaving a trail of feathers. Of course the trail didn't lead us to his den though :rant

He was a Blue Fawn Call drake... not SQ, but didn't matter to us... and he got his bill stuck in the incubator tray wire when he first hatched so his bill had crimps on both sides... he was a hooligan from Day 1...
Awww, he really was beautiful. I know that's rough.
ETA: I love all my hooligans as much if not more than the well behaved 1's, lol
