She said/He said Who's right? Who's wrong? No one!

And eldest (OK, so technically should be elder, since there're only 2) will be taking archery through 4H.

I'd love to know someone local that could teach us to hunt, though. Not exactly something that should (or even could) be learned solely from online sources, I don't think. Heck, fishing'd be nice--there's ling cod and snapper over there *waves vaguely towards the Pacific about a half mile away), and salmon and steelhead over there *waves vaguely eastish and northish (but not northeastish) towards the Smith River*

Not too long 'til Dungeness season, though.

Well, crap! If you were just a bit more North I could hook ya up with the best teacher ever! My brother is in NW WA and between him and my uncle they taught me everything I know about guns, hunting and fishing...

And don't feel bad about the not being able to shoot part... I taught my OH how to shoot just this year... rifle only so far, but he's getting a new lesson soon... :gig

ETA: you get tons of credit for being a mom supporting her daughter in learning those skills... way too many nowadays don't, unfortunately... :/

Got hold of some of the Australian chicken standards and found that our Aracuana here are EE as the standards call for green eggs not blue. I'll have to find out how much it would cost to bring in americacuana
