Awwee!!!!! So sad! . Well I too have sad news. So I candled the remaining 3 Silkie eggs and 2 crosses and no movement or cheeping. I water candled just to be safe and nothing. So I checked tapped into the air cells and they were all dead!!! . I lost all the silkies!!!! One had internally pipped then died because it still had to absorb it's yolk. The rest were fully developed. . Had all silkies hatched I would have had a blue, black, and a splash!!!! that hurts even more!!!

On another note:

Last CLB hatched...it's another boy!!!
However my first male jeeps sleeping with his head tucked underneath like this.

Is this normal??

Day 18 just started. I candled because I missed yesterday. All 3 chickens that I have seen kicking are still kicking

hard to see thru those dark eggs

Of my 8 duck eggs I couldn't see much movement in 2 of them. One I candled from the bottom for a different view and saw what looked like a gray area. Here's some pictures

Any thoughts? I saw movement from this end.

Looks good! So, thay are day 18 too, right? If so, then that bit at the bottom of the egg is the space still left for growth... remember, they still have 10 days of development left...
