come on chickie
Yay!!

For those of you who assist how long do you wait? I thought I read it can take 12 hours to zip. My anxiety is kicking in and my brain isn't functioning well lol
I usually wait 18 hours and then I get antsy and I make the pip a little bigger just to check on the chick and try to asses that it's in the right position. (Not that it's necessary. lol) Usually they are perfectly fine and I put them back in and give them to the 24 hour mark-or close, then I start an assist. Usually I don't finish cause they still have some veining so they finish on their own.

So, this is what our math session looked like today:

And then I believe he was getting ready to sneeze.....lol I just love the look on Frosty...lol

Mr Suave....

And a close up of the little pain in the butt.....lol

Now Elvis is the Dad (Spitz) and he is sportung the spitz comb I believe and I am almost certain my fluffy gray/silver EE is mom. With my Spitz, I couldn't be 100% sure with them until they all started crowing. For me, they weren't easy to sex. Now, I keep calling Frosty a she and really hoping we are right- but does anyone see anything that would make them think he?
